Thoughts:

This story is very sweet and cute! So Evelina is a supporting character in this story, but she was the first one that cared for Liandro, and was the one that broke his curse. Soon she began taking more roles and scenes from the main lead girl. Watching Liandro grow up, I like how he kept his stubborn yet cute personality. Later, it was so upsetting to see Evelina try to distance herself from Liandro because she did not want to burden him and the original storyline. Nonetheless, I’m glad she eventually accepted him after knowing he was still waiting for her after those years she went away. Now Diego is supposed to be the main lead in the original novel, but it seems he has interest in Evelina as well. I also think Eleonora, the original main girl, likes Evelina after she helped her, and it would be quite interesting if it became like the anime series My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! where both the guy and girl characters fell for the main lead.

The story has left us on a cliffhanger at the moment, and I am dying to know what the King plans to do with Evelina. I’m also cheering for Evelina and Liandro to get a happy end! This type of story is new to me where we watch the male lead grow as a kid, since usually the girl would meet them as a duke or some other noble already. It’s a nice change of pace, and I highly recommend to give it a try!
