Monster Duchess and Contract Princess

Synopsis:

Leslie’s life was always used for the betterment of her sister, Eli. After a failed attempt to extract the black magic within Leslie to transfer to Eli, Leslie knocks on the door of the monster Duchess and pleads for the Duchess to adopt her?!

Thoughts:

This manhwa is excellent in showing the darker aspects of an unfortunate child’s life. Leslie, the second born child of the Sperado, lives a cursed life. Her entire family hates her and the servants of the household treat her as if she’s even lower than the servants themselves. But after a certain incident, Leslie realizes that her family were actually after the powers that she has, raising her only for the benefit of her sister.

When I read that part, I felt so sad for Leslie. Imagine existing only for the purpose of someone else. T_T

However, Leslie realizes that she needs a more powerful backing to avoid her tragic sacrifice. So she goes to look for the person known as the “Monster Duchess”. But the Monster Duchess isn’t like how she sounds at all.

This story is about a girl who goes from a broken family to a loving one. When the wrongdoers are punished, it is extremely satisfying.

I love this manhwa so much. The art is good, the characters are cute and lovely, and the revenge is extremely satisfying. I would definitely recommend this to everybody! Let me know your thoughts on this manhwa!
