Hello Everyone! Hope everyone is doing well~
So me and Yume went to our second anime convention, Crunchyroll Expo 2019, this year, and it was a lot of fun. It was certainly smaller than AX, but there was some pro and cons about that. There were awesome cosplays, guests, and all those wonderful artists. Thank you all for coming!
Did anyone else wallet go flat during conventions, because I know mines did! The Exhibit hall was a great pastime if you couldn’t make it to a panel or wasn’t able to attend them. There were some food booths in the corner, but as we mentioned in our last convention post, they are quite expensive. We walked to a nearby restaurant to eat, or some may pack their own lunch. At the Aniplex booth, they had this Hi-Touch experience with 22/7 idols as guests! My money was also splurged on lots of lucky bags again xD Addiction is serious guys! I didn’t get anything I really liked but they were kinda worth it…..
Where half my cash went, the artist alley! It was connected to the Exhibitor hall in one large area. I could spend all day here, and there were many talented artists displaying their creativity. I couldn’t resist buying all those keychains and fanarts TvT (especially those 707 from Mystic Messenger fanarts and many Demon slayer keychains)
The best for last! I managed to get into all the panels I wanted to attend which was a great advantage of smaller convention. Food Wars special guests (two manga artist and anime producer) came and talked about their show and how it was created. It was great and I got an insight of the creation of this story! Out of curiosity for a story about people giving an exotic reaction to food, this show was made~ We also got to see a preview of Food Wars Season 4! Anyone else looking forward to that?
My most highlighted panel was… The Rise of the Shield Hero Panel featuring their special guests (character designer, chief animation director, producer, and Sarah Emi Bridcutt voice of Myne)! We also got to see MADKID’s two performance of Shield Hero’s opening songs and I loved it! Think I’ve become a fan of them now too 😉 It was also nice meeting Sarah, she’s a sweet person! o(≧∇≦o) And of course… season 3 and 4 was announced to be released!!! Wow two seasons announced in a day, what could be better. I’m really looking forward to this!
I already miss Crunchyroll Expo TvT but I’m looking forward to CRX 2020! I hope there will be as much amazing guests next year as well. Thank you to the guests for coming and Crunchyroll for hosting! o(〃＾▽＾〃)o
If you want to see what me and Yume bought at Crunchyroll Expo we posted it on our Twitter 😉 Sorry the post took so long, been busy with classes and exams Q.Q

That looks pretty awesome. I haven’t made it out to a con in a really, really long time. Unfortunately, they don’t have them that close to me, but that’s just me. 🙂
Aw, well there’s plenty of chances to come, guess the long trip kinda makes it more exciting xD but hope you can make it to one again! 🙂
