Enen no Shouboutai (Fire Force) Episode 2
Fire Force ep 2 put their audiences on emotional roller coaster. It started out like any action anime with a new recruit. The new recruit, Arthur Boyle, turns out to be Shinra’s old classmate from the Academy. They are rivals, always arguing, but near the end of the episode we can see they are actually good friends. (They are like Natsu and Gray from fairytail) When they were called on a mission, Captain Oubi had to give Shinra and Arthur a hard lesson about their job. They both know it already, but having someone tell them straight to the face was a different matter. That, in the end, they are really killing these innocent people that are set inflames. It got emotional from there because this time the Infernal did not fight back. He sat there and stare at his family photo. It was quite painful for the Shinra and the team but it has to be done. Author volunteer to “put him to rest”. I never expected this show or this episode to start out by making you laugh, and making you cry in the end. I wish there was a way for Infernals to turn back into humans.
Dr. Stone – Episode 2
Dr. Stone definitely stands out a lot compare to the other anime shows we have seen these couple of seasons. This anime is showing asking us what we think would happen if we can rebuild civilization. However, as I see it, because we are human, we going to repeat history. As Senku revive more and more people we bound to have people that have different ideal of what the world should be in the future. We see this in Tsukasa, the “strongest high-schooler”. (He is definitely strong, he killed a lion with two hands) Tsukasa is like a born leader. He is not just strong like Taiju, he is smart and ambitious. He has a goal and vision of how the world should be. He believes there are certain people that should live and certain people he should die/ don’t bother saving because they are “bad people”. However, Senku is against that idea. I am not sure will Senku fight Tsukasa in the next episode, but I definitely see war in the future between different groups of people fighting for their ideal world.
Joshikousei no Mudazukai ( Wasteful Days of High School Girl ) Ep 2
In this episode we focus more on her friend, Akane Kikuchi (also known as Wota). We learned the she dreamed of being a manga artist and is a fujoshi. The funniest part in this anime was her dream about saving this guy from this monster that curse him from bending his knees after hearing her friend’s advice/suggestion about her drawing. After that dream she started reading BL manga and it uplifted her mood. During school, she even fantasize about her homeroom teacher with another male teacher. Overall, I felt this episode wasn’t as funny episode 1, but we get to know her friend better. I am guessing the next ep we might get to know her other friend, Shiori Saginomiya (a.k.a. “Robo) more. I think Shiori might be the most the normal out of the three. I can’t say for sure till get to know her backstory.
Nakanohito Genome [Jikkyouchuu] Episode 2
I love this episode. I have become a fan Himiko-san now. In this episode they played an Otome nurturing type game. Iride, Himiko, Anya, and Makino will be joining this game. They were given an egg and they had to help it hatch. The moment when it was about to hatch, Himiko told them to think about what they wanted their girl to look like. Through this we get a better insight of what type of girl they were into. Iride thought about the cute big panda, Himiko like a caring mother just hopes is a healthy, kind, and honest girl, Anya wanted a school girl, and Makino’s preference is Afro. (Makino is our love game otome guy…I am now curious on the routes he chooses when he play otome games) After it hatched we got a mix of everything they wanted her to be and they needed to send her off to school the next day to help her get along with the school idol, Hikaru Genji. Like episode 1, it always end in a touching scene. After succeeding, their “daughter”, Murasaki, has to disappear, and she ask her parents for a hug. Even Anya had tears >.< ( I grab tissue too, Murasakai was a great girl q.q) I think Anya, our tsudare guy, is the only normal one here. Next episode we might see a yandere girl that stalks Iride >.>
Maou-sama, Retry! Episode 2
What is a Holy Maiden? We start off the show with this Holy Maiden, “Luna Elegant”, and she is not elegant at all. She presented herself to us as a spoiled child claiming to defeat the demon king as she sat in her comfy carriage. It must be fate, but our Maou-sama and Miss Luna was on the same route. However, before they met, Maou-sama and Aku was attacked by bandits. Of course, Maou-sama can easily defeat them, but just then, Luna comes out acting all high and mighty and defeats the bandits. Luna didn’t consider was there any civilian or other innocent people around when attacking and almost hurt poor Aku. Maou-sama asked for an apology, but Luna refused, and they got into a fight. Not much of a fight really since Maou-sama can easily defeat them. Maou-sama even gave Miss Luna a good spanking xD. He took her money as a fee for almost killing them and went to enjoy themselves in the city. Luna ran out money so she is going to stay with them for the time being. ( (Imagine if the Maou-sama is actually evil…what would he have done to Luna…?)
I am not sure how the other Holy Maiden are, but if Luna is like this I bet her sister’s are spoiled princesses too. I think is funny when Maou-sama try to tell Aku he may look old, but is still young. That he is more like her older brother than her dad.
Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou Episode 2
This episode was much more organized and understandable compared to the first episode. We now know Hajime Nagumo and his classmate got summoned to fight off the “demonkind”. Hajime and Kaori might be going out, but that is unclear. Shizuku seems to care a lot about Kaori. (She may have a crush on her…) The episode wraps up with us meeting Yue this vampire girl. She was betrayed by her clan and Nagumo felt the connection and helped unsealed her. The anime got the introduction out the way now, I can’t wait for Nagumo and Yue to head the city and meet those classmates of his. I look forward to him getting revenge on those people that left him to die. I wonder which side will Kaori pick: her classmates or Nagumo’s side.
If It’s for My Daughter, I’d Even Defeat a Demon Lord Ep 2
Not much to say, but another slice of life of Latina’s life. In this episode, Dale acted like an overprotective single father. He was worried about leaving Latina alone and that she will be loss without him. However, in this episode we found out Latina can use healing magic and she made a couple of friends. The only thing I am worried about is how could they let her in the kitchen. I mean it’s alright to have her help wash some dishes, but giving her a knife to peel potato! How old is she as a demon? I would be worried if she cut herself >.< Beside that, this show is just relaxing to watch, and Latina is super kawaii!!!
Isekai Cheat Magician Episode 2
Continuing on from the last episode, Taichi and Rin will now train and learn how to use their power. Rin is a mage and studied under Myura. Taichi is a sorcerer and has power that is strong enough to take over the nation if he wanted to. He studied under Lemiya. Lemiya knew that they are from another world and was worried that if their power and their identity got exposed, they would be endangered. So she plans to speed up their training so that they can fight on their own within 3 weeks.
This story line is very similar to Kenja no Mago (Wise Man’s Grandchild). Both started off with an OP character, but this one come with a childhood friend that will probably end up becoming his future wife. The character’s personality reminded me of Asuna and Kirito from SAO. They help and support each other in a fight. Both Rin and Taichi are really strong and can support themselves. Overall, this anime follows a classic isekai story line, unless that mysterious voice Taichi been hearing will tell him to take over the world ੧| ‾́︶ ‾́ |੭
